VELFAC windows have a low maintenance, long life span which gives excellent value for money.

Reducing the need for costly maintenance or replacement parts means we offer real savings over the life span of the building.

Once installed, a VELFAC window virtually takes care of itself, with regular cleaning and oiling of the hinges and handle once a year, the sash will not need painting or replacing during its lifetime.

The durability of the window- which is built to last has been assessed by leading construction industry bodies and we can safely say our windows have a 40 to 50 year design life which gives our customers real value for money.

VELFAC is part of the VKR Group, and we draw on over 60 years’ experience in the development and manufacture of high quality window systems. In the early 1980’s we began to manufacture windows in wood and aluminium, and we are the only company in the industry today, which has such an impressive history in the design and development of composite window systems.

VELFAC offers a comprehensive 12-year warranty for the VELFAC 200 window systems, 2 years for electrical accessories, and 3 years for defects in relation to Ironmongery.

The way VELFAC 200 windows are constructed is simple: a weatherproof aluminium frame on the outside and inside, a timber frame which gives a warm, natural feeling. Combined, these provide unique strength and weather resistance.

VELFAC 200 construction guarantees plenty of air circulation between the aluminium and wooden frames to keeps the timber dry and healthy.

The warranty against fabrication and material defects is valid from the date of delivery and 12 years onward. It is a condition of our warranty obligation that the window has been installed and used properly, and that it has not been exposed to e.g. vandalism or other damage.

Glass - Dovista Irl Ltd warrants in relation to double or triple glazed glass units that it will (at Dovista Irl Ltd.’s choice and after examination of the unit in place) supply replacement or refund the full price of any such unit which is found to be defective in regard to manufacture causing visual obstruction because of condensation or dust collection on either interior surfaces of an unbroken double glazed unit which was factory fitted by Dovista Irl Ltd for up to 10 years.

Cracks due to thermal stress, freezing or thawing are not covered by this warranty.

Scratched glass will not be covered by this warranty unless notified to the company in writing within 24 hours of delivery. Any associated costs in relation to the replacing of glass are not covered by this warranty.
